Zach Bryan's 'I Remember Everything' with Kacey Musgraves is the first No. 1 single for both singer-songwriters.

Zach Bryan‘s self-titled album, his sophomore release under Warner Records, has become the Oklahoma-bred singer-songwriter’s first No. 1 album. Bordering country, rock, Americana and folk, “Zach Bryan” ends Travis Scott’s consecutive four-week reign with “Utopia,” and is also the first rock set to appear at the top of the charts in over a year.
The album features roots-oriented guest stars like the Lumineers, Sierra Ferrell, the duo the War and Treaty and Kacey Musgraves, with whom he shares his first No. 1 on the Hot 100 for “I Remember Everything.”
The latter drew nearly 34 million streams and sold 10,000 downloads in the tracking week ending Aug. 31, according to data provided by Luminate. It’s also the first No. 1 single for both Bryan and Musgraves, who hadn’t managed to break into the top 20 of the all-genre-inclusive list until now.

All 16 songs on “Zach Bryan” are scattered across the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100, launching the LP to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the equivalent of 200,000 sales in the United States and 233 million streams. Although Bryan’s music is difficult to categorize, Billboard has included “Zach Bryan” on both its country and rock charts. With that in mind, “Zach Bryan” is the first rock album to score a No. 1 slot since the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Unlimited Love” led the list at the beginning of 2022.
“Really proud to call the writing and production on somethin’ all mine,” Bryan shared in an album announcement shortly before the new collection came out. “Thank y’all for your patience, I didn’t make this album to appease people who will never be happy anyways, I made it for my people.”
Scott’s rap-centric “Utopia” is now at No. 2 after leading the list for a month, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” is at No. 3 and Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” is at No. 4. Swift’s “Lover” and “Speak Now” are also at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively. SZA’s “SOS” returns to the top five at No. 5 following the release of the starry music video for “Snooze” and its new remixes.
The “Barbie” movie soundtrack is now at No. 6, Peso Pluma’s “Génesis” is at No. 7, and Wallen reappears on to round out the top 10 with his indomitable “Dangerous: The Double Album.”
Shifting to the singles chart, the only new release to hit the top 10 in the latest tracking week is Miley Cyrus’ “Used to Be Young,” which enters the list at No. 8 with 26 million airplay impressions and 18 million streams.
Bryan and Musgraves are followed by Luke Combs and his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” at No. 2. Doja Cat’s Dionne Warwick-sampling “Paint the Town Red” is now at No. 3 after debuting at No. 15 on the Aug. 15-dated chart. Wallen’s “Last Night” is at No. 4, Swift’s “Cruel Summer” is at No. 5 and Oliver Anthony Music’s “Rich Men North of Richmond” slips to No. 6 after reigning over the chart for two consecutive weeks (going from 23 million streams to 21 million streams between this latest tracking week and the one prior).
SZA’s “Snooze” reaches new heights at No. 7 with 17 million streams. Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night” sits at No. 9, after reaching No. 7, and Gunna’s “Fukumean” closes out the top of the bill at No. 10.
